The food was so good! We stayed in Hobart for 4 days and tried all the popular Indian restaurants but this jem beats them all. If you are looking for good authentic Indian flavours in Hobart - visit this place. Very friendly and welcoming staff as well! You will not be disappointed!
Had a very enjoyable dinner at this hidden gem in North Hobart. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered three dishes and a couple of naans and they were all very tasty. Prices were reasonable. By the end of the night, the owner was sharing stories with us about cricket and Indian life. An evening well spent. Highly recommended.
Authentic home-style Punjabi food, just like my mother-in-law used to cook, smells and tastes took me straight back to India!! On the night we went ( a large birthday party group) they had several group bookings and yes it took longer than our stomachs would have liked to arrive, and yes there were a couple of mix up with dishes, but it was so good (mostly) all was forgiven - at least by me!! Best Indian food in Hobart!
Can't believe I didn't know about this gem!
Undoubtedly the most authentic, delicious Indian fare I have had in Hobart. Understated, friendly, hard working in hard COVID times - this is my new go-to on regular trips to town.
Thoroughly recommended - well done Aman and family 👍
The two of us enjoyed a Tuesday evening dinner at Culinary King. The service was friendly and relaxed, and the food was delicious, meeting all our expectations. We had the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and vegetable korma. Each was perfectly prepared with just the right amount of spice. The garlic naan was plentiful and a good addition to the main dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
